This 3 pictures taken on 10th show the kind a "donuts-on-a-rope" type contrail signature made by "pulsed-engine" type craft ...

... except I sow the plane that created it and it was the usual "now typical" chemplane and this plane did not make any noise, jet as far as I know, a pulsed-engine craft is supposed to be "noisy" ... another mystery ...

... also, another chemplane approaches as the odd trial goes through various stages of progression.
